The payout rate
The payout rate is the value of prizes paid out for every SOL pulled, over many pulls. On Pull it's 99%, and it's a public, on-chain number, not a marketing claim.
How 99% works
- Base: 99%. Every machine is built to pay out 99% of what goes into it. The last 1% isn't a house cut; it stays in the machine as a buffer.
- Powered by $PULL fees. 50% of all $PULL trading fees are routed back into machine payouts. That flywheel lets a machine pay out far more than its odds alone could fund, and it's what makes the 99% base possible.
- Updated hourly. Every hour (an epoch), the fee half is allocated across machines by pull volume, and prize sizes are set for the hour. The rate is capped at 110%, so no hour can overpay.
- The meter on each machine shows the live figure for the current hour, linked to the epoch it came from.
The flywheel
- People trade $PULL.
- Trading fees flow into the protocol's Subsidy Vault.
- 50% goes back into machine payouts, holding the payout rate at 99%.
- 50% buys $PULL on the open market and burns it.
- Better payouts bring more players, more players bring more attention to $PULL, and the loop continues.
Short sessions vs. the long run
On rarity machines, the 99% includes the value of pity: the guaranteed Rare every 10 pulls and Legendary every 100. A player who pulls only a few times won't see pity kick in, so short sessions average below the headline rate. The exact figures are published per machine once the odds are final.
Recompute it yourself
Every number here is recomputable from on-chain accounts: the odds table, the multiplier for the hour, the Subsidy Vault's balance and the allocation each epoch. If we say 99%, you can check it.
